I wanted to thank you all for sticking with us through this journey.
Six months ago we said goodbye to our first house, our beautiful city, and our incredible friends and family and moved an hour north, into one room of my parents house.
Fast forward to today, and we are still living in that one room, but we are in the home stretch (no pun intended) of our modular home being finished and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
It’s my hope that we are granted occupancy in the next week (two weeks tops!) Six months is only half a year, but it seems like much longer when you’re not in your own space and your toddlers tantrums put everyone on edge.
But we are almost there!!
I wasn’t going to…but after some convincing, I wanted to share with you what it looks like right now (from iPhone images). It’s not finished…the master closet door has to be hung and the carpet needs to be tucked, but IT LOOKS LIKE A HOUSE!!! (Instead of two halves stuck together!)
This is the view from the front door. Living room and kitchen and the door to the master bedroom.
The beautiful kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and subway tile backdrop. 😍
Dining room area with sliding door that will *eventually* open to a deck!
Master closet (almost more than half the size of our bedroom at our precious house.)
Our DREAM master bathroom, with walk-in shower, double sinks and SO MUCH STORAGE.
Kids bathroom–Z will be SOO excited to have a tub and unlimited water!!!
Kids bedrooms with very nice sized closets (both are same size just reversed)
Side entry door that will *eventually* walk out into our future garage. And “mud room” area.
Next to the “mud room” is the laundry room, where our washer and dryer will go into that empty space. And that deep sink will be amazing for fighting stains!🤪
Our unfinished basement. Will eventually have an office (so daddy can work from home 🙏🏼) and a bedroom, full bathroom, living room and furnace/storage room!!! But right now, it just houses all the plants until we get occupancy.
Thanks for coming along on the unfinished tour. We cannot wait to get in and show you each room!
If you’re considering a modular home, I hope this opens your eyes to see just how amazing they are! You’d never know this was pre-fabricated and set on a basement!
If you have any questions, comment and we can talk!
And of course, stay tuned! The best is yet to come!!
